Written for AXPONA 2026, this white paper describes the engineering principles behind the Unified Theory UA-101 precision tonearm, protected by US Patent 12,334,120 B2. Key innovations include the patented single-filament azimuth control system enabling real-time adjustment during playback, a mechanically stabilized neutral-balance unipivot, multi-level vibration management from headshell to pivot, and a six-axis headshell providing full cartridge alignment.
This is a custom alignment protractor for the Unified Theory UA-101 tonearm, specifying IEC-standard geometry: 220mm pivot-to-spindle distance, 15.75mm overhang, 235.75mm effective length, and 22.05° offset angle, with inner and outer null radii at 63mm and 114mm. An accompanying tracking distortion chart plots percentage distortion across groove radii from 50–150mm.
